9:00am - 6:00pm (1 hour lunch break) Instruction will be given from 9:30am - 4:30pm
$280 per person (includes GST and PST). 50% deposit must accompany your registration, with the balance owing on the first day of the workshop.
This intermediate hand-building workshop will focus on the design and construction of slab-built forms and a variety of surface detail techniques. Beginning with template design and creation, we will then move on to working with slabs ( shaping, joining, altering, supporting, etc) creating multi-part forms, masking, layering of texture for ornate surfaces decoration.
Heath and Victoria are a pottery duo behind ShprixieLand Studios. For over 20 years the've been making colourful, richly ornate pottery in their home studio in Boswell on the east coast shore of Kootenay Lake.

WHAT TO BRING
Please bring with you a suitable apron or coveralls, a towel and any tools that you may already have. Clay, equipment and additional tools needed for the workshop will be provided. Finished work will be charged for after firing, by weight, size and type of clay used.
